Repost for the morning peeps...well, morning here.
Visiting a friend and got in Sunday evening. I have seen a bunch of paper plates on new cars and it is absurd how you can drive for weeks without a real plate number! Also, i swear that California drivers are worse than Massachusetts drivers.
Spent yesterday and today at Yosemite (finally have reception now that we are leaving) and oh my goodness it is beautiful. Clear skies let me do some attempts at long exposure sky shots for some stars, cool weather made bouldering outdoors a blast. I even ran into some people from Boston! Small world.
We hiked up to Vernal Falls because a lot of trails were closed and we figured we could climb more. I wish I had more time here.
We passed a Miata and Mustang on our way out...using a rental Elantra. I had a sad given how twisty and miata perfect the roads are. Seriously, we were all about these roads and the proper lines we would take with the right car. I wish I had the FoST because it would have been perfect. Here are some photos, including our drive through fog that blocked out the sun.
Napa on Wednesday, indoor climbing gym Thursday, Silicon Valley Friday then leaving Saturday. It's a good week with good friends.

The really weird thing about the people we meet was that one works at a rock gym I've been to and regularly goes to the same one i do. Small world
